خیبر پختونخوا میں تمام پولیس تھانوں میں کمانڈوز کی تعیناتی

اس وقت ایلیٹ فورس کے کمانڈوز کو صرف غیر معمولی حالات میں استعمال کیا جاتا ہے -- یہ صورتحال بدلنے والی ہے۔
پشاور -- خیبر پختونخوا (کے پی) پولیس عام پولیسنگ کوششوں کے دوران دفاعی جواب کو پختہ کرنے کے لیے صوبے کے تمام پولیس تھانون میں خصوصی تربیت یافتہ کمانڈوز تعینات کرنے کی منصوبہ بندی کر رہی ہے۔
یہ تعیناتی پشاور میں کچھ پولیس تھانوں میں پہلے ہی شروع ہو چکی ہے۔
کے پی انسپکٹر جنرل آف پولیس (آئی جی پی) صلاح الدین محسود نے بتایا، "ہم تمام پولیس تھانوں میں ایلیٹ فورس کے کمانڈوز تعینات کرنے جا رہے ہیں تاکہ وہ تلاشی اور حملے کی کارروائیوں اور عام پولیس کی جانب سے کی جانے والی دیگر کارروائیوں میں حصہ لے سکیں۔"
پولیس حکام کے مطابق، اس وقت ایلیٹ فورس کے کمانڈوز کو صرف غیر معمولی حالات میں استعمال کیا جاتا ہے، اور وہ عام پولیس کے ساتھ فرائض انجام نہیں دیتے۔
محسود نے کہا، "اب پولیس تھانوں میں ان کی تعیناتی کے ساتھ، وہ عام پولیس کے ساتھ چھاپوں، گشتوں، اور دیگر کارروائیوں میں حصہ لیا کریں گے۔"
انہوں نے کہا کہ جونیئر افسران، بشمول سب انسپکٹر اور اسسٹنٹ سب انسپکٹرز، اس بارے میں تربیت حاصل کریں گے کہ ان کمانڈوز کی قیادت کیسے کرنی ہے، جو عام پولیس کی کارروائیوں سے واقف ہیں یا عوام کے ساتھ میل جول کرتے ہیں۔
انہوں نے مزید کہا کہ تعیناتی پولیس کی جانب سے چھاپوں اور کارروائیوں کو بہتر بنائے گی اور عام محکمے پر بوجھ کو کم کرے گی۔
محسود نے کہا، "ہم خصوصی جنگی یونٹ (ایس سی یو) کے انتہائی تربیت یافتہ دستوں کو بہتر طور پر استعمال کرنے کے طریقوں پر بھی غور کر رہے ہیں۔"
ایس سی یو 150 پولیس کمانڈوز پر مشتمل ایک چھوٹا دستہ ہے۔ وہ سٹنگ آپریشنوں، ممانعت اور انسدادِ دہشت گردی کی کارروائیوں کے لیے اکیلے یا دیگر پولیس اور قانون نافذ کرنے والے محکموں کے ساتھ فوری تعیناتی کے قابل ہیں۔

وزیرِ اعلیٰ کے پی پرویز خٹک نے فروری میں نوشہرہ میں ایلیٹ فورس سے خطاب کرتے ہوئے، دہشت گردی کے خلاف پولیس کے ہراول دستہ بننے کو سراہا تھا۔ وزیرِ اعلیٰ نے پولیس کمانڈوز کی تنخواہوں اور دیگر مراعات میں نمایاں اضافے کا بھی اعلان کیا تھا۔
بہت سی خواتین کمانڈوز نے ایلیٹ فورس میں شامل ہونے کے لیے حالیہ مہینوں میں تربیت مکمل کی ہے۔
کیپیٹل سٹی پولیس افسر (سی سی پی او) پشاور محمد طاہر کے مطابق، ایلیٹ فورس کے کمانڈوز پہلے ہی خیبر ایجنسی کی سرحد کے قریب چند پولیس تھانوں میں تعینات کیے جا چکے ہیں۔
انہوں نے پاکستان فارورڈ کو بتایا کہ "پشاور میں چند دیہی پولیس تھانوں" میں خدمات انجام دے رہے کمانڈوز وہاں "دہشت گردون کو جواب دینے میں وقت بچانے" کے لیے ہیں۔
ایلیٹ فورس کمانڈوز کے علاوہ، متھرا، بڈھابیر اور تاتارا میں پولیس تھانوں میں سے ہر ایک میں ریپڈ رسپانس فورس کے یونٹ موجود ہیں، جو ایک ہنگامی صورتحال میں عام پولیس فورس کے پہنچنے سے پہلے جوابی کارروائی کرنے کے قابل ہے۔
سینیئر سپرنٹنڈنٹ آف پولیس آپریشنز پشاور سجاد خان نے محسود سے اس بات پر اتفاق کرتے ہوئے کہ کمانڈوز پولیس کے بہتر چھاپوں میں بہتری لائیں گے اور بوجھ تلے دبی عام پولیس کو راحت پہنچائیں گے، کہا، "ان کمانڈوز کی دہشت گردوں اور سکہ بند مجرموں کا تعاقب کرتے ہوئے عملی طور پر بہت ضرورت ہے۔"
قبائلی علاقہ جات کے نزدیک ایک گاؤں متنی کے مکین، ثاقب آفریدی نے پاکستان فارورڈ کو بتایاکہ ان کمانڈوز کی خصوصی تربیت "ہنگامی حالات کے دوران" بہت قیمتی ہو گی۔
انہوں نے کہا کہ قبائلی علاقہ جات کی سرحد پر ایلیٹ فورس کی تعیناتی اور دفاعی چوکیوں کی تعمیر پشاور پر کسی بھی دہشت گرد حملے کا اچھا جواب دینے میں پولیس کی مدد کرے گی۔
