پاکستان سپر لیگ کے چار میچ کراچی میں کرانے کا فیصلہ

پاکستان کرکٹ بورڈ (پی سی بی) نے آئندہ سال فروری میں ہونے والے 'پاکستان سپر لیگ' کے سیزن تھری کے چار میچ کراچی میں کرانے کا عندیہ دیا ہے۔
یہ فیصلہ چیئرمین پی سی بی نجم سیٹھی اور وزیراعلیٰ سندھ سید مراد علی شاہ کے درمیان بدھ کو ہونے والی ملاقات میں کیا گیا۔
ملاقات کے بعد پریس کانفرنس میں چیئرمین پی سی بی نجم سیٹھی نے بتایا کہ رواں ہفتے انٹرنیشنل کرکٹ کونسل (آئی سی سی) کے سربراہ پاکستان آرہے ہیں جنہیں کراچی میں مجوزہ میچوں کی سکیورٹی انتظامات کے بارے میں بریفنگ دی جائے گی۔

انہوں نے کہا کہ پی سی بی 'پی ایس ایل' تھری کے چار میچ کراچی میں کرانا چاہتا ہے اور اس حوالے سے وزیر اعلیٰ سندھ سید مراد علی شاہ نے انہیں مکمل تعاون کی یقین دہانی کر ائی ہے۔
وزیراعلیٰ سندھ کے ترجمان نے کہا ہے کہ چیئرمین پی سی بی کے ساتھ ملاقات میں سید مراد علی شاہ نے اس بات پر زور دیا کہ کراچی پرامن شہر ہے اور اس کے دروازے بھی انٹرنیشنل کرکٹ کے لیے کھولے جانے چاہئیں۔
ملاقات میں وزیرِاعلیٰ سندھ کا کہنا تھا کہ ان کی حکومت کھلاڑیوں کو ہر ممکن سکیورٹی دے گی اور اگر چیئرمین پی سی بی چاہیں تو وزیرِ اعلیٰ خود ٹیموں کے ہمراہ ایئرپورٹ سے ہوٹل تک جاسکتے ہیں۔
ترجمان کے مطابق میچوں اور ٹیموں کی سکیورٹی کے حوالے سے وزیراعلیٰ نے پی سی بی کے سیکورٹی انچارج اورآئی جی سندھ کی ملاقات طے کرادی ہے اور کرکٹ بورڈ کے سکیورٹی انچارج کرنل اعظم اور سندھ پولیس کے سربراہ اے ڈی خواجہ کی ملاقات جلد متوقع ہے۔
پریس کانفرنس کے دوران نجم سیٹھی کا مزید کہنا تھا کہ کراچی کے نیشنل اسٹیڈیم کا حال بہت خراب ہے جس کی بحالی کے لیے مرحلہ وار کام کرایا جائے گا۔
انہوں نے بتایا کہ اسٹیڈیم کی تعمیر و مرمت کے لیے ڈیڑھ ارب روپے مختص کیے گئے ہیں۔
نجم سیٹھی نے کہا کہ پہلے پی ایس ایل کے میچ کراچی میں ہوں گے اور اس کے بعد عالمی ٹیموں کو بھی یہاں لایا جائے گا۔
ایک سوال کے جواب میں ان کا کہنا تھا کہ ون ڈے اور ٹیسٹ میچوں میں بھارت کو پاکستان کے ساتھ کھیلنا ہوگا اور اگر بھارت نہیں کھیلے گا تو اس کے پوائنٹس کٹ جائیں گے۔
