Erdogan – “We Do Not Want Other Tensions”

ANKARA, Turkey – Peaceful … Peaceful Recep Tayyip Erdogan appeared, speaking on the Turkish NTV channel. “Now we want peace, peace with Greece is worth no other,” he said.
The Turkish president speaking on the television network seemed to support a peaceful settlement of the issues with Greece, saying he does not want other tensions.
“We will continue in an emergency”
Earlier at a Deik meeting in Istanbul, he said the state of emergency could be extended even for the tenth time, if needed, to ensure peace in the country.
“We will continue to prolong it for peace in our country, for eighth, for ninth, for the tenth time, if necessary,” he said.
On Wednesday, the Turkish parliament gave for the seventh time an extension of three months to the state of emergency imposed on the country after the failed coup of 2016.
Erdogan has assured the business community that the state of emergency is being used only in the country’s fight against terrorism and said they should welcome it as it safeguards the interests of business as it avoids strikes. “We are upset when entrepreneurs tell us we have to remove the state of emergency,” he added.
The Union of Turkish Industrialists and Entrepreneurs called on the government last week to end the state of emergency and criticized Erdogan for his decision to launch early parliamentary and presidential elections in June.
In an interview with the NTV television network, the Turkish president admitted that Turkey and the Syrian terroristss he supported have lost hundreds of fighters since they launched their military operations in northwestern Syria three months ago.
Turkey and the Free Syrian Army (FSA) launched the “Elaiya Division” in January and have so far expelled Kurdish militants from the People’s Protection Units (YPG) from the African region.
“In addition to our 56 witnesses, the FSA had hundreds of witnesses,” Erdogan said
