The Menace of 5th Generation war 3

 Khalid Khan
The writer is Social Activist and Political Expert

In recent year military thinkers have been focused on "fourth generation warfare that is conflict over ideas thoughts and opinion" simply that it is ad hoc warriors compare 4th generation war to the industrialized world. 3rd generation war example is like the war fought by traditional armies over land and resources. The US and its allies are already good at 3rd generation war .example are look it US past and another example is the US army involved 5 years into the Iraq war But the next Generation of war . that so-called Fifth-Generation war. 5GW is what happens when the world's disaffected direct their desperation at the most obvious symbol of everything they lack taking advantage of the tactics and battlefields pioneered by more highly organized. 5GW fighters will win by pointing out the impotence of secular military might this fighter wins by not losing .while we lose by not winning and the other hand The 5GW targeting the youth of Pakistan by influencing their minds in a negative manner.  A multi-layered approach is adopted to instil or aggravate feelings of deprivation ' frustration ' desperation and disillusionment. A bleak picture is painted in the mind of the youngster to shake their belief in the country they are living in an important objective of the anti-state forces is to constantly engage state institutions and create an uncertain law and order situation. This is done to attain some crucial targets such as stifling the economy by discouraging the foreign investors isolating the Country at the international level and creating a sense of disillusionment among the youth about the future of the country.
This subtle subversion of minds is more dangerous than overt act of violence as the young mind internalises the message and start seeing believing 'thinking behaving 'and doing things according to the agenda set for them

This wilful mental surrender in line with the concept of spontaneous consent propounded by Italian thinker Antonio Gramsci. Stereotypes are created and mandated realities are constructed in a subtle and skilful manner to be internalised by the targeted groups. Intolerance ' impatience ' extremism ' narrow-mindedness ' and self-righteousness are promoted through different social institution's ' such as the family ' educational institutions and the media especially social media.
As I already said we can not fight against 5GW but we can reduce this war by awareness by education by planing development by the institution by media etc.

#How to reduce 5GW?
It is important for this social institution's to be used to debunk some of these stereotypes. The roles of the family and educational institutions ' Madrassah, as well as formal educational institutions, are important as both of these social institution's can potentially play an important role in the construction of realities for young people. In the wake of the challenge of 5GW, the state and the media especially social media are expected to play a positive role along with other social institutions like the family and educational institutions. Such holistic approach to extremism are realistic and are more likely to succeed.
