Dubai: His Highness Shaikh Mohammad bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai, has been named among the top 5 Arab men having a positive impact on the world by the Huffington Post.
The Dubai Media Office tweeted the news Wednesday.
Highlighting Shaikh Mohammad’s contributions, the article speaks of his “vision to promote development and humanitarian work” in developing countries. “In this regard, he has several organisations that work together to develop healthcare projects and support relief efforts around the world,” the article said.
The article continues, “The Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiative has helped 130 million people in 116 countries. His campaign ‘Dubai Cares’ is one of the largest humanitarian programs in the world, with the aim of fighting poverty, disseminating knowledge, and educating the poor.”
