The Sufferers

We have lost more than 5,100,000 Palestinians since 1948 including hundreds and thousands of
children like Yousif Shaaban Abu Athra, a 15 year old Palestinian boy killed by Israeli tank
shelling in Gaza on 21 March 2017.

The death toll in Indian occupied Kashmir is close to 100,000 including hundreds of pellet
guns victims like Insha Mushtaq, a 14 years old girl who become a victim of pellet gun when
she was watching a protest from a window of his home. The death toll in Syrian war is more
than 400,000 including hundreds and thousands of children like Aylan Kurdi, a three-year- old
Syrian boy who drowned on 2 September 2015 in the Mediterranean Sea. Pakistan lost over
50,000 civilians and hundreds of soldiers in war against terror apart from hundreds of civilians
killed in drone attacks including 68 children.

We have lost 112,667–123,284 civilians in Iraq war and over 31,000 Afghans civilians are
estimated to have been killed in the conflict. The Myanmar death toll is above 14,000, apart
from 646000 refugees who have only arrived in Bangladesh. The dilemma do not end here the
biggest tragedy is that the world is quick to blame Muslims for terror attacks that take place all
around the world in spite of the fact that they are the ones who have suffered the most.
“Even if Muslims were hypothetically involved behind every single one of the 140,000 terror
attacks committed worldwide since 1970, still it barely 0.009 percent of global Islam.”
“Around 1.5 billion Muslims around the world and less than 150,000 belonging to terrorist
organizations such as ISIS, al-Qaeda, TTP, al-Shahbab and Boko Haram, etc which represent less
than 0.001 percent of all Muslim world.”

“This means that you are more likely to be struck by lightning in your lifetime than a Muslim is
likely to commit a terrorist attack during that same time span”.

But we should not blame anyone for this vexatious situation as we are responsible for
everything. The Muslim countries are in constant brawl with each other; even the communities
within Muslim countries are busy in constant exchange of blows with each other. We are killing
each other on the name of Islam, a religion in which the right to life value is of absolute
importance.  In Quran Allah mentioned that: “He who kills a soul unless it be (in legal
punishment) for murder or for causing disorder and corruption on the earth will be as if he
had killed all humankind, and he who saves a life will be as if he had saved the lives of all
humankind.” (Quran 5:32)

The question is how can Muslims stand up against this injustice, which takes different
forms? What should we do in this difficult situation?

The Muslims Muslim Ummah can regain their former unity only if they unite and become a
united cluster, they'll manage to face up to anyone and everyone. All Muslims should unite from the leaders to every member of the Muslim communities that lives on earth. After all,
Muslims are third of the world’s population, which is a huge number. If Muslims don't unite,
no different strategies, offered by some scholars or Muslim movements, can facilitate to resist
the aggression. Unity will solely be achieved if Muslims flee from internal disputes among
themselves, stop fueling a feud within the communities.
