کرپٹ افراد کو سزائے موت دینے کا مجوزہ بل تیار

ملک میں کرپشن کرنے والے افراد کو سزائے موت دینے کا مجوزہ بل تیار کر لیا  گیا جو کہ قومی اسمبلی کے آئندہ اجلاس میں پیش کیا جائے گا۔ کرپشن پر سزائے موت کا مجوزہ بل جمعیت علماء اسلام (جے یو آئی) کی رکن قومی اسمبلی عالیہ کامران نے تیار کیا۔ بل میں کرپشن کی کم سے کم سزا بھی 7سال قید سے بڑھا کر 14 سال کرنے اور نیب قوانین 1999 اور انسداد کرپشن ایکٹ 1947 میں ترمیم تجویز کی گئی ہے۔ مجوزہ بل میں کہا گیا ہے کہ کرپشن پاکستان کا سب سے بڑا مسئلہ ہے اس لیے بدعنوانی کی روک تھام کے لیے سزا سخت کی جائے۔ بل قومی اسمبلی کے آئندہ اجلاس میں پیش کر دیا جائے گا

BLA claims responsibility for Chinese consulate attack

DC-Security forces on Friday morning foiled an attack on the Chinese Consulate in the Clifton Block-4 area of the city. Two policemen, Assistant Sub Inspector Ashraf Dawood, and Constable Amir were martyred and a security guard injured as three gunmen tried to enter the consulate around 9:00am. Two visa applicants from Quetta, a father, and son identified as Niaz Muhammad and Muhammad Zahir Shah, also lost their lives in the attack. The terrorists were trying to enter the consulate from the visa issuance section but were intercepted by security personnel at a checkpoint. According to reports, the terrorists detonated a hand grenade before the opening gunfire. Washington:Peace talks to end the conflict in Yemen will take place in Sweden in the next few weeks, Secretary of Defense James Mattis said Wednesday, as experts cautioned that there's no guarantee Sa udi Arabia will take the steps needed for that to happen. The conflict of nearly four years between a coalition led by Saudi Arabia and Houthi rebels  has killed around 57,000 people, according to the Armed Conflict Location & Event Data Project, a crisis mapping project. No confirmation of Kidnapped SP's murder in Afghanistan: KP police chief

The federal government and police authorities on Tuesday said they had no confirmation regarding reports of the killing of Superintendent Police (SP) Tahir Khan Dawar, who went missing from Islamabad last month. SP Dawar had gone missing from Islamabad on October 27. But speculation over the fate of the missing officer mounted on Tuesday when pictures of a dead body found in Afghanistan's Nangarhar province, purportedly that of Dawar, started circulating on social media platforms.  State Minister for Interior Shehryar Afridi declined to comment over the veracity of the social media reports, saying it was a sensitive matter. "It is a matter of national security and someone's life, and cannot be discussed on an open forum," Afridi said.
